and Technological Assistance: The Mattole Watershed Resource Center
offers landowners and residents a watershed resource library, fact sheets, and
technological assistance for watershed-related projects. The center also offers
technological assistance for private projects on a fee-for-service basis. Petrolia
office hours are Tuesday through Thursday, 10am-3pm or by appointment. For more

Map
Making and GPS Services: The GIS Program offers customized maps of any
location within the Mattole watershed and GPS services. Maps are made to order
in 2-3 weeks, and can be produced for as little as $30. For more information,
please email us at gis@mattole.org
Tree Planting: The Reforestation Program
offers native Douglas-fir planting on previously forested private lands, from
1,000 to 30,000 trees. Trees cost $1.10 each, with an annual order placed in January.
In addition, we can offer advice on appropriate species and planting techniques.

Notification
of New Commercial Timber Harvest Plans: The Forest Practices Review
Program can notify you or planned Timber Harvest Plans anywhere in the Mattole
watershed so you can comment or simply be informed. To keep up to date, please

Sediment
Inventory : The Good Roads, Clear Creeks program helps landowners
identify and fix road-related erosion problems at little or no cost. GRCC program
staff are available for consultation on your road issues; this is a free service
