MRC will share the cost of making your home and forest more resistant to catastrophic fire. Up to $3,000 per ownership and $800 per acre is available to help carry out projects in limbing, thinning, and clearing.

The Mattole has two Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPPs): Lower Mattole Fire Plan and Upper Mattole Fire Plan.
