Contract Manager Job Opening
The Mattole Restoration Council is looking for a part time Contract Manager to join our team.
The contract manager will oversee proper implementation and accounting of contracted projects from a variety of government agencies and private foundations. Responsibilities include but not limited to managing project accounting, budget tracking, invoicing, billing, and submitting reports. Communicates and coordinates regularly with Bookkeeper, Program Managers, and Executive Director.
The ideal candidate will have: • Excellent math, bookkeeping and/or accounting skills • Invoicing and reporting experience • Excellent organization skills and an attention to detail • Strong sense of self-direction and ability to motivate others • Strong oral and written communication skills • Experience working with complex budgets • Experience with public works contracts and labor compliance • Commitment to watershed restoration and conservation goals
Position is based in Petrolia, CA but could be done remotely. Hours depend on workload and grant funding cycle with an average of 10-20 hours a week.
