The Sediment Assessment series detail the results from our various Mattole watershed sediment surveys. MRC and Jack Monschke Watershed Management staff complete stream and road surveys throughout the 12 defined Sediment Assessment areas and make recommendations for all sites with the potential to deliver greater than 10 cubic yards of sediment to a salmon stream.
The reports include interesting historical information, salmon information, and suggestions on how to be a good steward of the land.
