The MRC, in cooperation with the Middle Mattole Conservancy, State Coastal Conservancy, Save-the-Redwooods League, and Bureau of Land Management, created the Gilham Butte Cooperative Management Plan. The Plan, written by Kate Crockett, sets forth a vision for the preservation of old-growth forests within the Gilham Butte reserve and associated publicly-owned parcels, and for restoring forests and creeks to ecological productivity. The plan was an opportunity for local residents to shape the management of this middle Mattole ecological reserve.

You can download low resolution copies of the Plan by clicking on the links in the upper right. If you would like a high resolution version, please contact the MRC office at 707-629-3514. Printed copies available for sale at cost.
