| Mattole Salmon Group | A local non-profit grassroots organization that does research, operates a hatchbox and rescue rearing program, and implements restoration projects. |
| Sanctuary Forest Inc. | A Whitethorn based land trust has preserved approximately 3,000 acres of Mattole old-growth forest and holds conservation easements on approximately 10,000 acres. |
| Resource Renewal Institute | The Resource Renewal Institute facilitates the creation, development and implementation of practical strategies to solve the entire complex environmental problem by addressing it comprehensively. We are an incubator of transformational ideas designed to challenge and change the piecemeal way our resources are currently managed and protected. |

| California DFG | Department of Fish and Game's purpose is to conserve fishery resources and wildlife. DFG continues to fund stream and fish related projects in the Mattole. |
| North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board | NCWQCB is currently funding two MRC Good Roads, Clear Creeks Projects. They are also developing the Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) for the Mattole River. |
| California Coastal Conservancy | The California Coastal Conservancy has long been involved in restoration and conservation projects in the Mattole and is a lead partner in the Mattole River and Range Partnership. |

| For the Sake of the Salmon (SOS) | A regional salmon support coalition bringing together a wide range of state, local, and recreational interests. |
| Salmonid Restoration Federation | A group that provides information about salmon restoration and hosts an annual conference. |
